First Visitors!

These next few posts will be a bit out of order as I sort through pictures from the last few months. But, here are some pictures from our time with our first visitors this past week. We loved having Adriel and Liviya here! I'm sure our visitor hosting will improve as we get to know this place better and get fully settled in, but we definitely added some things to our list of visitor must-do's - the pottery shop in "Little Scotland", Bathsheeba beach, and getting flying fish and the market to fry at home.
Here we are at Bathsheeba. It was so much fun to have company on all of my daily outings with the kiddos. Isaiah and Noelle loved having another little buddy to play with, or squeal with.

We've yet to see the monkeys on campus! Our little friend from Tobago says he sees "plenty monkeys!" but we haven't been out at the right time/place yet. We did get to see and touch this little monkey who spends his days at Bathsheeba beach, though. We were in full tourist mode as we gave this man a few dollars to pet his shirt-wearing baby monkey and take a few pics.

Isaiah and Liviya didn't play together a lot, but they had many moments of really enjoying each others company. Here are the two little buddies on the road into Codrington. They really enjoyed sharing their meals at the kid table and they were especially adorable as they danced and sang "Jesus loves the little children" outside in the evenings as we gazed at the stars and the bats.

This was our last day together, pre-sunburn. Everyone is anxious to get in that blue water!

And, we got another visitor last week! Kim was our first friend to come through on a cruise ship. Luke and I drove out to meet her for a few hours. We had lunch and loved being with another familiar, encouraging friend.

We're now accepting bookings for summer and fall! Come see us!

Pottery shop? Little Scotland?? No way! What a nice little touch to connect the dots of your life! :-) Did your pottery survive the shipping? Thankfully, ours did great.
