Pictures

This morning we are at the college for a few minutes for me to be online. Luke and the kids are wandering the campus for a few minutes while I frantically do all of the internet stuff I need to do. One of those things is posting pictures! So, here you go, in no particular order:

One of my favorite things here so far is going out to the fishing pier. I took the kids out a few days ago, and it was awesome! There is this long pier way out into the blue water, surrounded by fishing boats unloading their catch. I haven't seen so many fish before. While we were there they filled 2 huge buckets with the contents of just one boat. One bucket was full of mahimahi and the other of tuna. And, the end of the pier is a great place to watch for sea turtles. We only saw a few, but plan to go back in the morning, which we hear is the best time to see them.

The other night there was a Caribbean bbq at the college and we were all invited. We enjoyed being with the students and eating some tasty food. More to come on that in another post.

Cutie patootie in her swimsuit.

Our new car has mirrored windows. It is the only part of the car I don't like. I think they're pretty ugly, but I'm getting used to them. It does help to keep the car cool.

We went to the Oistins Fish Fry a few weeks ago, and loved it. I'll have to write more about that another time, too, but it was a tasty, fun, outdoor meal for our little family. It was really fun to feel almost like we were on vacation for a few minutes :)

Life is plugging along. Luke's busy with the thesis. I'm conquering all sorts of driving adventures. Noelle is teething. Isaiah is always hoping for someone to jump on the beds with him.

I'm glad to see pictures & hear about life there- but maybe even more happy that you were able to get on and blog. I'm sure that your fingers were as itchy to share as our ears/eyes were to be told! You guys look great & this looks like as unique an experience as St. Andrews. Wow! Thanks for the Isaiah dialogue...laughter does my heart good & that was FUNNY! Love to you all- Cass

Whoever said "Adventure is just bad planning?" I like "“When you're safe at home you wish you were having an adventure; when you're having an adventure you wish you were safe at home".

Enjoy your adventures!
