The Ladybug Party for our Little Lady

Noelle is (very nearly) 1 year old!! I can't believe it. One of the blessings of being in Colorado for 6 months is that we got to celebrate both kids' birthdays with the grandparents, aunts and uncles. So today we celebrated our sweet Noelle -
I loved doing a red and black party. Ladybugs are just cute! We had a brunch of sausage casserole, fruit, and blueberry crumb muffins -

Noelle was very interested in the candle in her cupcake, but doesn't quite know how to blow. Isaiah was glad to offer his candle-blowing expertise. She was not especially interested in the icing, but once she got down to the blueberry cake, she was pretty happy -

She got her first doll! Baby Stella has joined our family. I was really excited to give my baby girl her first baby doll. Her favorite part was putting the magnetic pacifier on and off Baby Stella's little face. This little doll got all sorts of accessories from the family - a cradle, sleep sack, feeding set, handmade blanket, and stroller. Noelle also got some darling little outfits for Barbados.
