First Words

Guess who's talking?? Noelle has 2 words in her vocabulary now. Yesterday, we became convinced that she is saying "dog". It sounds more like "dah", but it is definitely a word! We've been dog-sitting Shannon's dog, Bella, this week, and Noelle is always excited to see the "dah". The other word has been on Noelle's tongue for a few weeks now. It is "pretty". Of course it doesn't sound like "pretty" (more like "prrrr-teee"), but we're fairly certain it is what she is saying. It think I'll claim it as her first word. We've spent so much time looking at pretty Christmas things - lights, trees, ornaments, gifts, candles, dresses, etc., that she's picked it up. Can't believe my baby is talking! Such fun!
