The rest of the story

So, our date the other night was more than just a sweet night out. It was a celebration!! Within the last few weeks our plans have shifted just a bit (!) as Luke was offered a position teaching systematic theology in Barbados! We would have never expected this to be the door that would open for us, after knocking on many doors for the last 2 years. But, once again, God has surprised us with His plans for us. So, at the moment, Luke is working hard and fast on finishing up the thesis and preparing his courses for the fall. I'm keeping busy with the logistics of an international family move. We're also trying to make the most of our last moments in St Andrews (and the cool temperatures). We have LOVED living here, and it's hard to let go of this season. Thanks for following us on this Scottish journey. We promise to invite you along to The Tallon Adventures in Barbados!

And, can I just say that, although this blog has become mostly one of me gushing about my babies, Luke's work has obviously been the reason we're here. And I am SO proud of the work he's done - the thesis, papers, conferences, seminars, and job applications. He has put his heart into everything he has produced as he desires so much to serve and glorify the Lord in this vocation. He has come into his own as a theologian and scholar while being undeniably committed to me, Isaiah and Noelle. I'm an incredibly blessed woman to be able to follow this man around the world!
