Looking at animal tracks in the sand -
Mommy: Look, Isaiah - I see rabbit tracks and bird tracks. Hmmm. I'm not sure what those other tracks are.
Isaiah: Maybe a very small hippo.
Eating breakfast:
Daddy: Wow. This french toast is like what you'd get in a restaurant!
Isaiah: What's a restaurant?
(Yeah... we don't get out much.)
Isaiah sitting on my lap, squishing my arms:
Isaiah: Your arms are full of food.
Mommy: Are you saying that because they're squishy?
Isaiah: Yeah.
Mommy: No. My arms are not full of food. Those are muscles.
Isaiah: Oh. I thought it was your lunch.

Priceless!
Love, Mimi
I snorted as I laughed when I read these. He's funny! I hope he lets Noelle talk when she's able to turn out gems like these!
Yeah you have me cracking up over coffee. I am always so touched when I visit your blog. Loving all your photos and reflections and recounted conversations.
I startled Liviya because I laughed so loud at the third one. :-)
Seriously, you need to compile all of these into a book called "Conversations with Isaiah". It would be a best seller for sure.
