Me: No, there is already enough butter in the muffin.
Isaiah: But I really, really like butter! It is my favorite food!

After cracking open a nut -
Isaiah: Wow! I cracked that open all by myself! I was like a real man!

Licking a banana -
Isaiah: I like the sweetness of this.

After finding one shoe -
Isaiah: I found one shoe, apparently.

As I was tucking him in -
Isaiah: I'm your little lamb, Mom. Do lambs jump? Can they jump over fire? I'm your little lamb that can jump over fire. And my wool doesn't get burned.
