Tea for Three

A few days ago, Mimi, Noelle, and I celebrated Mimi's birthday by enjoying afternoon tea at the Old Course Hotel. Mom and I have had tea there a few times over the last couple of years, but this time was extra special as it was the first time for us to have three generations there. Noelle slept soundly, lulled by the harpist and the murmur of ladies chatting, sipping tea, and nibbling cucumber sandwiches and scones with clotted cream. It was a lovely afternoon, and Mom and I are both looking forward to the day that Noelle can take part in our tea parties!
