£2.85
I don't shop the charity (thrift) stores much in St Andrews. You have to be a very patient shopper to browse and hunt and dig for something worth browsing and hunting and digging for. And a patient shopper, I am not. But, today I stumbled into a charity shop to avoid the 15 minutes during the middle of the day when Tesco is overrun by 13-15 year olds on their lunch break. I walked in and found this set of random trains, tracks, bridges and accessories for under 3 pounds! Isaiah does have a very small train set that another family left for him, and he loves it. I was thrilled to be able to quadruple his fun for just a few pounds! Luke suggested I save it for Christmas, but a toddler in St Andrews in November needs all of the indoor, engaging activities he can find (and, honestly, so does his very pregnant mommy). So, woohoo for our new toy!
