... we welcomed Isaiah Ben into our little family. We named him with our favorite boy's name, although he didn't receive it until a few minutes after birth. We learned how to swaddle, nurse, and check for fevers. We learned how to change diapers, clean up spit-up, and give baths in a little tiny bath. We watched him roll over, scoot around on his belly, grow out of his little outfits, delight in the wonders of the world, taste 'big people food', take his first steps, learn how to blow kisses. Now, walking has turned to running, spinning, 'jumping', sliding, climbing, and dancing. Those little coos have become almost full sentences. And those little kisses come with such affection. 2 years ago today, we had no idea that that first joyful day would be multiplied time and time again, that we would so love being parents together, that we would laugh and smile so much as we got to know this little person, our son. Happy Birthday, Isaiah!

Happy Birthday indeed!
I can't believe our babies are 2! Well, Sammie won't until the 27th, but it's close enough! Glad you found my blog so that I can follow the link to yours. How long will you guys stay in Scotland? Your new flat looks so big! As for potty training, we give it a go when we are staying home all day so that she can go bare bottomed. I think I just need to be persistent. Sammie learns so fast that I'm hoping she will pick up potty training fast too. Hope you are feeling well with this second pregnancy. I'm feeling really good right now...not sick, not very big, still have energy... and we should find out in the next week or so if we are having a boy or a girl. Yea!
