This past weekend, we went on a wee group holiday with a few other St Andrews families. We were only able to go for 1 night, but it was definitely worth it! We stayed in a huge holiday home just outside of Perth. Our place was pretty remotely situated. You could hear the bleating of sheep echoing in the valley, and we had to get past these characters before we could join our friends at the house -
Isaiah jumped right in with the kids. He's definitely not old enough to let loose with the gang, but he enjoyed having the fun of a great group of kids - along with the security of Mom or Dad nearby -
The guys built a fire on the construction site next to our holiday home. It looks a little bit like we're sitting on piles of rubbish, but we hardly noticed with the beautiful country around us. The kids cooked hot dogs for dinner (the adults had amazingly good steak after the kids went to bed!) -
Isaiah's first "ice lolly" -
Somehow I didn't get any pictures of the house. But, this was in the yard out front -
The day we drove home was gorgeous - hot even! The 3 of us did some hiking. We didn't set out to find Scotland's tallest tree, but we stumbled upon it - We didn't climb up this cliff - we were just passing by -
